November 14, 2023 – Life has a way of dealing us blows that can rock our lives to the core, however when the dust settles our foundation is revealed. Pastor Zo encourages all to trust in the Lord and allow his strength to be made perfect in our weakness.
November 9, 2023 – After free flow worship Pastor Zo reminds us that God has given each of us a will to not just reflect what life gives us but adjust and use our God-Given power to shift and change the atmosphere. Thermometers only accepts what is. Thermostats use what is to change the environment. There is a difference!
November 2, 2023 – Sometimes we can feel buried by life’s circumstances but what if you were planted instead? Christine Caine talked about this in a quote. Pastor Zo helps us to raise our level of thinking. God’s ways are always higher than ours and it will bless us to agree with His ways.
October 31, 2023 – Sometimes life requires us to make adjustments. Through practical application Pastor Zo takes us through the fundamentals of basketball and how it parallels with life lessons. The very definition of “pivot” allows movement without going away from your foundation/principles.
October 26, 2023 – Adam Moore is the Director of the Portland Union Gospel Mission. He shares their vision and stories about his heart for missions work. We also were able to hear how lives have been transformed through this organization.

September 28, 2023 – After Free Flow Worship Pastor Zo challenges students. In order to flourish in a new season you have to rid yourself of old ways of thinking that will limit your effectiveness.
September 26, 2023 – Apostle Victor Alvarizares pastors Father’s House International in Portland Oregon. He encourages students be mindful of intentional growth. This is should be a priority to experience fulfillment in life.

September 14, 2023 – Professor LaToya Seawood is a professor is our Business Division. She shares her personal story of how she is able to walk out her faith in her professional endeavors. The intersection of faith and career is a very powerful aspect because it governs principles, character, integrity and many intangibles that will give stability even in unstable work environments.
September 12, 2023 – Pastor Zo reminds us that mistakes and failures are a part of life but don’t allow fear and embarrassment to stop you from getting back up and trying again. We learn from the past but we should not live in the past.
September 7, 2023 – WPU’s own JuJu Williams serves as Student Chaplain, President of the SGA and is also a volleyball player. She shares her personal testimony about how God allowed her to see a miraculous turnaround in her family. She also speaks of the power of forgiveness and redemption.
September 5, 2023 – WPU President Dr. Brian Johnson speaks to students about Career and Calling. It is a blessing for our students to hear of some of his personal experiences being a first generation college graduate from humble beginnings of scarcity and less than ideal circumstances. He also shares how his faith in Jesus sustained him to accomplish demonstrated works.
August 31, 2023 – Pastor Zo reminds students that who you become on the journey supersedes what you receive. When your character is developed it enables and empowers you to handle the responsibility of promotion.
August 29, 2023 – Free Flow Worship…The music was so encouraging and students came up for prayer and to rededicate themselves to God’s will for their lives.
August 24, 2023 – Pastor Zo asks, ”What is the story behind the glory?” The path to the prize is always greater than the prize itself! He reviews the story of David and Goliath and what life lessons can be abstracted from it.
