Research Passion:

Dr. Mace’s scholarship employs qualitative and quantitative methodologies and her research concerns are human trafficking, human rights, and child welfare. She is passionate about social justice and social change and her research seeks to increase education and awareness of human trafficking.

Background:

Before entering higher education, Dr. Mace was a Community and Organizational Development Volunteer with the U.S. Peace Corps. She has over fifteen years of experience working with human trafficking prevention, awareness, and advocacy in the United States and Bulgaria as well as youth development and empowerment programs domestically and globally. Dr. Mace joined the faculty at Warner Pacific University in 2014. She enjoys engaging with students and building relationships on campus and in the community. Outside of work, Dr. Mace loves spending time with her family and exploring the Pacific Northwest.
